Ozigi Joshua OMUYA is a Chartered Accountant with over forty years of experience in Audit, Accounting and Tax. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA) and of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (FCIT). He is a Member of the Institute of Directors (MIoD), the Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM), the British Institute of Management (MBIM) and of the Institute of Management Consultants (MIMC).
He has attended numerous courses for top level Management and Board members organized by World class Institutions in England, USA, Dubai, Ghana, Malaysia, Brazil etc; He has also attended various courses of Mandatory Continuous Professional Education (MCPE) organized by ICAN in Nigeria.
For more than seven years, he served as a Non-Executive Member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). Presently, he is Resident Partner in Abuja. J.O. Omuya has contributed enormously to the growth of the Firm and to the Accounting Profession. He was a Lecturer in Accounting at the Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) Zaria and had served as External Examiner in Accounting to many institutions. He was the Chief Examiner for „A‟
Level Accounting paper for the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for several years. He is the author of the famous West African Edition of “Frank Wood Business Accounting Volumes 1 and 2” and has also authored three other text books in Accounting that are widely used in secondary and tertiary institutions.
